The Legacy Reference Field is relevant for existing or older installations of the Linked Ticket app.
This field, known as the Reference Field, is the ID of the Linked Data field and is manually created to link tickets together in the app. It must be present on all active ticket forms. Deleting this field will erase all links between tickets, and they cannot be recovered. Zendesk recommends keeping this field in your account if it exists.
For more information, refer to theoriginal help documentation.
