Why is there a column with no date in my backlog report?

This means that backlog data from other days, like Monday through Saturday, are grouped into a column with no date. This column is visible when using the 'Backlog recorded - Date' attribute, but if you remove this attribute, the data will be grouped under a 'no date' row.
