When using the 'Time - Backlog recorded' metric, you are summing up the backlog tickets over a selected timeframe. For instance, if you have a weekly backlog count of 10 on Monday, 11 on Tuesday, and so on, the total backlog recorded would be 70. On the other hand, 'Backlog end of period' only considers the backlog count at the end of the period, which in this example would be 9, the count on Sunday.
