Zendesk has introduced several new features for Messaging and Bots. Proactive messages are now available for Web Widget and mobile channels, allowing you to deliver targeted messages to customers without waiting for them to initiate a conversation. New messaging metadata variables are also available, using signed JSON Web Tokens (JWTs) for authentication to customize bot responses.
