Managing chat conversations in Zendesk Agent Workspace is straightforward. Active chats appear in the left-most tab, making them easy to spot while working with tickets. When a new visitor wants to chat, you'll see an 'Accept' button on the upper right. Visitors actively chatting are highlighted in green, while those inactive for a few minutes are highlighted in orange.
You can end a chat without closing the ticket or updating its status. Once a chat ends, you can send updates to the ticket as email notifications, including public replies and internal notes. Attachments can be included in a chat and sent as an email reply after the chat ends. For more details, check out theoriginal documentation.
