My AskAI vs Sierra AI agent: Features, Pricing, and Results (2026)
My AskAI vs Sierra: Sierra hides pricing behind sales and runs ~$200K+/year; My AskAI is $0.10 a ticket, flat. Enterprise voice vs live-in-minutes, compared.
Mike is an experienced Product Manager who focuses on all the “non-development” areas of My AskAI, from finance and customer success to product design, copywriting, testing and more.
Sierra is a $10 billion enterprise "Agent OS" that builds bespoke, action-taking agents for voice, chat, SMS and email, sold through a sales team and billed only when an interaction is resolved. My AskAI takes the opposite route: a self-serve agent that installs into your existing Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, Gorgias or HubSpot for a flat 10 cents a ticket, live this week. The short version: Sierra fits a large enterprise with a phone channel, deep backend orchestration and a six-figure budget; My AskAI fits everyone who just wants their day-to-day conversations resolved where their team already works, on a bill they can forecast.
Sierra keeps its rates behind a sales call, and outside estimates put year-one spend somewhere north of $200,000. My AskAI starts at $199 a month and can be live before lunch. These are two tools built for different buyers.
I'm Mike, co-founder of My AskAI. We help 200+ ecommerce and SaaS businesses run support automation without leaving the tools they've already set up, and between them our agents have handled north of a million tickets. So I'll tell you up front where I'm biased, and where Sierra beats us, because for some of you it's the right call.
What AI can I use to reply to customer support tickets: My AskAI or Sierra?
⚡
TL;DR: Both resolve tier-1 tickets autonomously, but they sit in different places. My AskAI installs inside your existing helpdesk; Sierra is a standalone "Agent OS" that connects to your backend by API and runs across chat, voice, SMS and more.
The two products go after the same headline job, an AI agent that answers the repetitive questions so your team doesn't have to. But they're built on opposite assumptions about who's buying.
My AskAI is an AI agent that lives inside the helpdesk you already run. You install it from the marketplace of Zendesk, Intercom, HubSpot, Freshdesk or Gorgias, point it at your knowledge, and it starts drafting and sending replies on your existing tickets.
It's not a helpdesk and won't replace the one you run. It installs into that helpdesk and replaces the native AI product there (Fin, Zendesk AI, Freddy, Gorgias Automate, Breeze), at roughly $0.10 a ticket, resolving around 75% of tier-1 volume.
Sierra takes the other road. It's a standalone "Agent OS", an enterprise platform founded by Bret Taylor and valued at around $10B, that sits above your existing CX systems and connects to them by API.
It deploys custom agents across chat, voice, SMS, email, WhatsApp and more, and it's aimed squarely at the enterprise, where it's arguably the one to beat: Sierra reports around 40% of the Fortune 50 as customers, and about half its customer base does over $1B in revenue. It is not a helpdesk plugin, and it's not really pitched at a small team; Sierra designed it that way on purpose.
Which one fits comes down to how your team is already set up.
A quadrant plotting My AskAI and Sierra on pricing transparency versus company scale. My AskAI sits bottom-right (SMB and mid-market, published self-serve pricing); Sierra sits top-left (large enterprise, sales-gated pricing).
Sierra's G2 profile is a small, unclaimed sample, so I'd weigh the words over the star average. One reviewer (Raf V., Design) put the appeal well: "The efficiency and system integration capabilities, like with CRM and Zendesk, are extremely powerful, maintaining brand-aligned communication flawlessly."
On our side, Alan P. (Head of Customer Success) wrote that "The AI Agent consistently answered 70% of our support requests with no tweaking after the first knowledge base sync… quickly got us up to 80% deflection."
How does an AI customer service agent work: My AskAI vs Sierra?
⚡
TL;DR: Both are trained on your knowledge and connect to live systems to take actions. The difference is the wrapper: My AskAI answers inside your helpdesk inbox; Sierra orchestrates a "constellation" of models above your stack and hands off by API.
Under the hood, both agents run the same basic loop. You connect knowledge, the agent reads an incoming question, answers what it can, and escalates what it can't to a human, with a summary attached so nobody has to repeat the back-and-forth.
Sierra's wrapper is broad and sits above the stack. Its Agent OS runs what Sierra calls a "Constellation of Models", 15+ frontier, open-weight and proprietary models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta and Google, orchestrated together, with supervisory agents enforcing policy on top (Sierra's engineering blog covers the architecture).
Sierra's Agent Studio, building a customer-service journey with the live agent conversation alongside.
It's sophisticated engineering. The trade-off is that Sierra holds the bot-side conversation data while your contact center holds the human-side data, so there's no single unified inbox. The agent lives beside your stack.
My AskAI's wrapper is narrower on purpose. It answers inside your helpdesk's own inbox, and it runs a suite of models too (predominantly OpenAI, with Google and Anthropic used for the specific tasks where they win) rather than betting the whole thing on one LLM. Then there's Self-Learning: it reads what your human agents wrote after a handover and drafts new knowledge from it, so resolution climbs over time without anyone sitting down to retrain the thing.
Both are multi-model orchestration layers. Sierra's is wider and lives above your whole contact center; My AskAI's is focused on the helpdesk ticket in front of it.
What are the different ways I can use an AI agent?
⚡
TL;DR: My AskAI runs as direct replies, copilot/internal-note drafts, and a free Chrome-extension copilot inside your helpdesk. Sierra runs direct replies plus Live Assist for human reps, and adds full voice/phone agents, which My AskAI does not.
There's more than one way to put either agent to work, and the modes are where each side's personality shows.
Direct replies
The headline mode for both: the AI answers the customer directly, in chat, messaging or email. On My AskAI that happens inside your helpdesk's native channel; on Sierra it happens through Sierra's own layer across whichever channels you've connected.
Copilot replies
Both can also work behind the scenes, drafting a reply for a human to review and send. My AskAI does this through Copilot, plus a free Chrome Extension that puts the drafts in front of your agents inside any of its integrated helpdesks, with no per-seat charge. Sierra's version is Live Assist: real-time guidance, auto-drafted responses and one-click actions for your human reps.
Internal note replies
Before the AI talks to a single customer, you can run it in Internal Notes mode, the mode I'd hand any nervous team. It drafts a reply on every ticket as an internal note the customer never sees, so you can sit it side by side with whatever AI you're using today and grade it for a week before you flip it live. Sierra, being sales-led and vendor-built, has no equivalent self-serve shadow mode you can switch on yourself.
Voice
Voice is the first place Sierra clearly wins. It overtook text as Sierra's primary channel through 2025. It runs inbound and outbound phone agents, integrates with IVR, and even includes Voice Sims to test a voice agent before it goes live.
My AskAI is built for the messaging, chat and email channels your helpdesk routes; voice isn't something we do today. If phone is a real part of your support load, that's a genuine reason to look at Sierra.
Which is easier to setup, Sierra or My AskAI?
⚡
TL;DR: My AskAI, by a wide margin. Sign up, connect knowledge, install the helpdesk app, live in about 10 to 15 minutes on a 30-day free trial. Sierra is sales-led: a demo, a scoped pilot, then a roughly 90-day guided onboarding with a CSM.
This is where the two buyers diverge hardest. It matters as much to the person signing the check as to the person running the trial.
My AskAI is self-serve start to finish. You sign up, connect your knowledge sources, and install the helpdesk app from your marketplace. Most teams are live in 10 to 15 minutes, and a full switch from something like Fin or Zendesk AI can be done inside a day.
There's a 30-day free trial with every feature unlocked, unlimited tickets, and no credit card, so you can prove it against your own tickets before you pay anyone. No developer is required for the standard setup.
Sierra is the opposite motion, and again, deliberately so. It's sales-led and CSM-guided: a demo, then discovery, then a scoped pilot, then roughly a 90-day onboarding with a dedicated customer-success manager from Sierra's side. I'd want to prove a support agent against my own tickets before I commit to a build that long, and a sales-led rollout takes that option off the table.
Two setup paths side by side. Sierra: book a sales demo, discovery and a scoped pilot, a roughly 90-day CSM-guided onboarding, and no free trial. My AskAI: sign up yourself, connect your knowledge, install the helpdesk app, and go live in about 10 to 15 minutes on a 30-day free trial.
Some deployments move faster once scoped, with Sierra's own case studies citing four-to-ten-week go-lives. But third parties put the realistic range at one-to-six months depending on how much backend integration is involved, and G2 reviewers flag a steep learning curve. There's no free trial and no self-serve signup.
Sierra did launch Ghostwriter in March 2026 (describe an agent in plain English, or upload SOPs and transcripts, and it builds a first draft), which is a real step toward self-serve. But there's no confirmed public self-serve access yet, so treat it as a direction of travel for now. On setup speed and being able to start on your own, this is a clear My AskAI win.
How do My AskAI and Sierra differ in what they can be trained on?
⚡
TL;DR: My AskAI documents a broad, named connector set: Drive, Notion, Confluence, SharePoint, Shopify, help centers, historic tickets. Sierra ingests knowledge and real-time system data through its Agent Data Platform, but doesn't publicly enumerate its connectors.
Both agents are only as good as what you feed them.
'Static' content
My AskAI trains on a broad set of sources it names openly: your help center and public website, PDF and DOCX uploads, Notion, Confluence, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, SharePoint, Salesforce knowledge pages and Shopify, plus the Zendesk, Intercom and Freshdesk help centers (including behind-login articles), custom answer pairs, and historic-ticket training that auto-drafts starter knowledge from your last 5,000 historic tickets by default (more on request). That last one helps most if you don't have a tidy help center yet. You can bootstrap the agent from tickets you've already answered, with no doc-writing from scratch required.
Sierra ingests FAQs, SOPs, support-call transcripts, audio recordings, policy docs and, via Ghostwriter, even photos of a whiteboard. But Sierra doesn't publish a connector list or file-format matrix. The specific platforms it covers aren't enumerated on its public pages, and reviewers note the data-prep work tends to fall on the customer.
'Dynamic' content
For live data, My AskAI reads from your backend through the User Data API plus a dedicated Shopify connector, so it can answer "where's my order?" or "what plan am I on?" with real values, and takes actions through Tasks and Tools. Sierra's equivalent is its Agent Data Platform, which connects to CRM records, order-management and subscription systems and data warehouses, and keeps persistent agent memory across conversations; its Expert Answers feature auto-generates knowledge from resolved conversations.
My AskAI documents a broad, named connector set; Sierra ingests comparable data but keeps the specifics behind its sales process.

Which has better answer quality, Sierra or My AskAI?
⚡
TL;DR: Roughly comparable on tier-1 questions from a clean knowledge base. Sierra publishes case-study resolution rates of 64-94% (mostly 65-77%); My AskAI runs ~72% across its base. It's not an apples-to-apples duel; each defines resolution differently.
The two land in a similar place on the questions most support teams drown in: the repetitive tier-1 tail from a clean knowledge base. Both resolve the bulk of that volume well.
Sierra publishes strong case-study numbers: resolution rates from 64% up to 94%, clustering most often around 65-77% (Ramp at 90%, Casper at 74%, WeightWatchers around 70%, AOL at 64%), with CSAT scores of 4.5-4.8. That's genuine Fortune-50 traction and I'm not going to wave it away.
My AskAI runs about 72% resolution on a rolling basis across our customer base, and our published case studies sit in the same band: TravelJoy at ~80%, Edel Optics at ~79% after adding live user data, YesLMS at 76% and Apartment List at 76%.
A head-to-head resolution-rate scoreboard would be misleading, though, because every vendor defines "resolution" differently.
My AskAI counts a conversation resolved when the AI handled it without escalating to a human. The defensibility is that escalation is easy and clean, so a customer who needs a person gets one fast; we never claim to know an issue was truly solved without the customer confirming it. Sierra, being outcome-priced, only charges on interactions it deems resolved, which gives it a financial reason to define that line tightly.
A spectrum of AI resolution rates. The field median sits at about 70%, My AskAI at about 72%, Apartment List at 76% and TravelJoy at 80%, all clustered in the same band. Sierra's published case studies span 64 to 94%, noted as directional because vendors define resolution differently.
Where Sierra stretches further is complexity: voice, and actions inside regulated, multi-system flows. Where it has a documented weak spot, per one G2 reviewer (Olga W.), is length: "Sierra AI may struggle to maintain context in longer conversations, leading to repetitive or irrelevant responses." My AskAI's focus is squarely the tier-1/2 chat and email tail.
Which AI agent is easier to improve over time: Sierra or My AskAI?
⚡
TL;DR: Sierra has the richer optimization suite (Explorer, Experiments, Monitors), but much of the tuning runs through Sierra's team. My AskAI improves itself: Self-Learning drafts new knowledge from your agents' replies, and you can ask Echo why any answer landed.
Both agents get better after go-live; the difference is who does the improving.
Sierra has the deeper toolkit on paper. Its optimization suite includes Explorer (ChatGPT-style deep research across your conversations), Experiments (multivariate A/B testing), Monitors (proactive sentiment and sNPS anomaly detection), Voice Sims, and Workspaces with GitHub-style versioning and rollback.
It's an impressive spread. The recurring reviewer note, though, is that a lot of that tuning runs through Sierra's own team.
Some describe the relationship as closer to a consultancy than a software product, and say changing logic or prompts often means contacting Sierra. It's powerful, but it keeps you leaning on the vendor.
My AskAI improves itself and hands you the controls. Self-Learning automatically drafts new knowledge articles by comparing the AI's reply to the human agent's actual reply on handed-over tickets, with no manual retraining cycle. And when you want to know why the agent said something, you ask Echo why any answer landed and which knowledge source it used, right in the dashboard.
It's less of a research lab than Sierra's suite, but it's self-serve and automatic, which is the trade a team without a dedicated AI-ops function will feel. I'd score this one a genuine tie: Sierra's tools are richer, but they're gated behind Sierra's people.
Which has more features, Sierra or My AskAI?
⚡
TL;DR: Sierra has the broader platform: voice, an Agent SDK, multi-agent orchestration, a memory platform, Live Assist. My AskAI focuses on the support-specific features most teams use daily, inside the helpdesk, without an implementation project.
If you're counting features, Sierra wins the row count. Its Agent OS spans seven modules (Agent Studio, an Agent SDK for multi-agent orchestration and CI/CD, Insights 2.0, Voice, Live Assist, the Agent Data Platform with persistent memory, and a Trust & Reliability layer), plus Ghostwriter on top. That's a platform.
My AskAI's bet is different: the support-specific features teams reach for every day, inside the helpdesk, with no implementation project. That's Internal-Notes mode, Tasks and Tools for agentic work like refunds and cancellations, Guidance, Multibrand, AI Tagging across four helpdesks, live agent translation, image reading, spam filters, Custom Domains, and Insights that scores 100% of your conversations for CSAT. On the agentic actions specifically (refunds, cancellations, order changes), you choose per action whether the AI runs it fully autonomously or proposes it for a human to approve.
A screenshot of My AskAI's “Task & Tools” feature enabling complex, multi-step actions like updating addresses, or refunding an order.
The read: Sierra wins on breadth, voice, SDK and memory; My AskAI wins on being native to your helpdesk and needing no project to stand up.
Is it easy to customize My AskAI and Sierra?
⚡
TL;DR: My AskAI is self-serve: edit Guidance, prompt, persona and Tasks yourself in plain English. Sierra is powerful but vendor-mediated; reviewers report you often need Sierra's team to change logic or prompts.
Customization comes down to who holds the pen.
With My AskAI, you do. You edit Guidance, which covers tone, terminology, scenario handling and forced-handover rules in three types, along with the prompt, the persona and your Tasks, all in plain English, in minutes. Echo can even write, edit and merge Guidance for you.
And Custom Domains let you host the agent on your own domain for a white-label finish. It's built for a support lead to tune without opening a ticket with us.
Sierra's Agent SDK is powerful, but it's dev-and-vendor-led. Reviewers report that Sierra "does not allow for client customization as competitors" and that changes to logic or prompts "often require contacting Sierra's team, which slows iteration."
Agent Studio 2.0 and Ghostwriter may be narrowing that gap, but the real-world validation is still thin. For a team that wants to make a change on a Tuesday afternoon and see it live, My AskAI has the edge.
What about vendor lock-in?
⚡
TL;DR: My AskAI works across all five helpdesks (Zendesk, Intercom, HubSpot, Freshdesk and Gorgias), so switching helpdesk doesn't mean re-implementing your AI. Sierra is a bespoke build above your stack; leaving means unwinding custom API integrations and losing the tuned agent.
Lock-in is the kind of thing nobody thinks about until they're trying to leave.
My AskAI is a portable layer. If you switch helpdesk down the line, say Zendesk to Intercom, your trained agent, custom answers, guidance and tasks come with you across any of the five supported helpdesks: Zendesk, Intercom, HubSpot, Freshdesk and Gorgias.
You don't rebuild the AI just because you changed the inbox underneath it. Granted, that means My AskAI is itself a layer you'd be adopting, but it's a portable, self-serve one you can walk in and out of.
Sierra is a bespoke build that sits above your stack, connected by custom API, holding its conversation data separately from your contact center. That's a lot of value when it's running, but it means leaving is a project: you're unwinding custom integrations and losing an agent that was tuned specifically for you.
Does Sierra or My AskAI have any other AI features?
⚡
TL;DR: Both do more than answer tickets. My AskAI adds in-helpdesk tagging and 95-language support; Sierra adds voice analytics, sentiment Monitors and mid-conversation language switching. Sierra is broader on voice and analytics.
Beyond the core agent, each side has a handful of extras.
Tagging
My AskAI auto-tags tickets natively inside Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk and Freshchat, classifying each incoming message by meaning against your own tag taxonomy, at $0.05 per attribute per ticket. Because it reads the message text and routes on it, it doubles as a spend and triage lever: tag a class of tickets you'd rather a human took, and route them accordingly. Sierra's equivalent is topic analysis inside Insights (via Explorer), useful for spotting trends, though it works at the level of conversations while My AskAI tags each ticket inside your helpdesk.
Agent translation and languages
My AskAI supports 95 languages, auto-detected per message, and offers a Live Translation add-on that lets a human agent read and reply across a language barrier on handover. Sierra supports 34+ languages, switches language mid-conversation in real time, and offers custom voices per region. The voice piece is something My AskAI doesn't have an answer to.
Voice and sentiment analytics
Sierra runs voice analytics and Monitors for sentiment and sNPS anomaly detection, plus retention experiments. My AskAI's Insights scores 100% of conversations for CSAT (not the usual 2-10% sample), groups them into topics, and surfaces handover rates and the topics that need attention. On the analytics-and-voice axis specifically, Sierra is the broader tool.
What about security, is Sierra more secure than My AskAI?
⚡
TL;DR: Sierra carries the broader certification grid: SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, CSA STAR. My AskAI holds SOC 2 Type II and GDPR with AES-256 encryption, which covers most B2B SaaS and e-commerce buyers.
On certification breadth, Sierra clearly wins.
Sierra carries a wide grid: SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001 (the AI-specific management standard, still relatively rare), HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA and CSA STAR Level One, with PII auto-masked and encrypted and a trust portal at Sierra's Trust Center. Some of the detail (SOC 2 type, encryption spec, data residency) sits behind a Trust Center request, off the public pages.
My AskAI holds SOC 2 Type II and is GDPR compliant, with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS in transit; your data is never used for model training, and each customer runs in isolated containers, with the live report at our Trust Center. For most B2B SaaS and e-commerce buyers, that's the set your security reviewer is checking for.

In December 2025 a coordinated bad actor exploited a misconfigured guardrail on a Sierra agent deployed for Gap, which shows how much of an agent's safety is configuration-dependent. On either platform, the certification grid matters less than how the guardrails are set up.
Which costs more, Sierra or My AskAI?
⚡
TL;DR: No contest on price. Sierra is outcome-based with no public rate and a year-one cost most third parties put at $200K-$350K+. My AskAI is $0.10 a ticket, flat. A 10,000-ticket month is about $1,299 on Scale.
Price is where most buyers land the decision.
The pricing model
Sierra is outcome-based: you pay per successfully-resolved outcome, and some deployments run a blended model that adds per-conversation consumption fees for low-value interactions like routing or greeting. It's opaque and sales-negotiated, with no public rate (their pricing page returns a 404), no tiers, no self-serve. You'll sometimes see a per-outcome figure floating around online, but I won't repeat it as fact: it has no citable origin, so treat it as internet folklore.
My AskAI is per-ticket and published: about $0.10 a ticket (every two AI replies is one credit; email runs closer to $0.15). You can read the full pricing page without talking to anyone.
Most of what lifts an AI agent's resolution rate is your work: updating knowledge, connecting tools and APIs, tuning guidance, setting up triage, running a weekly QA pass.
Outcome-based pricing charges you more precisely as those improvements land, so you pay the vendor for the gains your own team created. Usage-based pricing stays flat, and you keep the upside.
Under a per-ticket model, your cost per resolved ticket falls as your resolution rate climbs, while the bill tracks ticket volume.
I Let AI Agents Resolve 10,000 Support Tickets, Here's How Much It Cost
The overall cost
Both tools sit on top of the helpdesk or contact center you're already paying for (Sierra doesn't replace your CX stack and neither do we), so the fair comparison is AI charge to AI charge.
On that basis: My AskAI is about $1,299 a month at 10,000 tickets on the Scale plan. Sierra's AI charge is estimate-only, because there's no public price and no observed contract benchmark to point at.
Three figures on cost. My AskAI is $0.10 per ticket, published on the page. At 10,000 tickets a month that is about $1,299 on the Scale plan. Sierra's year-one cost is a third-party estimate of $200,000 to $350,000 or more, with no public rate.
Third parties put year-one cost in the $200K-$350K+ range, or roughly $17K-$29K+ a month. That's an estimate. The real number lives behind a sales process.

The skepticism around Sierra's cost isn't just me. It shows up in community threads from people who've been through the process.
Conclusion - should I choose Sierra or My AskAI?
⚡
TL;DR: For a large enterprise that needs voice, deep custom orchestration and can invest six figures, Sierra is the category leader. For everyone else (teams that want tier-1 chat and email resolved inside their existing helpdesk, fast and at a predictable price), My AskAI wins.
If you're a large enterprise that needs voice, complex multi-system orchestration and can commit six figures to a multi-month build, Sierra is the category leader and an excellent product. Buy it with confidence. For everyone else, My AskAI resolves your tier-1 chat and email inside the helpdesk you already run, this week, at a price you can forecast.

It's not a clean sweep. Sierra wins four categories (modes, features, other AI features and security) on the strength of voice, its Agent SDK and memory platform, and a seven-certification grid.
My AskAI wins the categories most buyers feel month to month: setup speed, price, customization, lock-in and integration breadth. It's close on the two ties.
The eleven scored categories bucketed three ways. My AskAI wins five: ease of setup, price, customization, lock-in and training or integrations. Two are ties: answer quality and improving over time. Sierra wins four: modes, features, other AI features and security.
That Sierra can only be scored on what it publishes is itself part of the picture. A lot of its story lives behind a sales process, and the scorecard can only reflect what's public.
Choose Sierra if:
You're a large enterprise (roughly $500M+ revenue) with the budget for $200K+ in year one and a multi-month guided build.
You need voice or phone automation as a core channel.
You have complex, multi-system backend orchestration that needs a bespoke platform above your stack.
You're in a regulated industry that requires HIPAA, ISO 27001 or ISO 42001.
But if that isn't you, if you want tier-1 chat and email resolved inside your existing helpdesk, with transparent per-ticket pricing, documented connectors, self-serve customization and a real 30-day trial to test against your own tickets, then My AskAI is the better fit, and you're talking to the founders when you need help.
For most SMB and mid-market teams running chat and email support, yes. My AskAI removes the need for Sierra by resolving your tier-1 volume inside the helpdesk you already have.
Where it doesn't replace Sierra is at the enterprise edge: Sierra's voice and phone automation, and its bespoke multi-system orchestration, are things My AskAI doesn't do. If those are core to you, they're the reason to stay with Sierra.
What can My AskAI and Sierra each be trained on?
My AskAI trains on a broad, named set (help center, website, PDFs, Notion, Confluence, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, SharePoint, Salesforce knowledge pages, Shopify and historic tickets), plus live backend data via the User Data API. Sierra ingests FAQs, SOPs, transcripts and whiteboard photos, and connects to live CRM, order-management and warehouse data through its Agent Data Platform, but doesn't publicly enumerate its connectors.

How long does setup take and do we need developers?
My AskAI is self-serve: most teams are live in 10 to 15 minutes, no developer needed for the standard setup, on a 30-day free trial. Sierra is sales-led: a demo, a scoped pilot, and roughly a 90-day CSM-guided onboarding, with no free trial or self-serve signup. Realistic go-lives run from a few weeks to several months depending on integration complexity.
How do My AskAI vs Sierra pricing models differ, and what might we pay?
My AskAI charges per ticket at a published, predictable $0.10; Sierra charges per resolved outcome with no public rate. Both sit on top of the helpdesk or contact center you already pay for, so compare AI charge to AI charge:

Both are strong here. My AskAI supports 95 languages auto-detected per message, plus a Live Translation add-on that bridges the language gap for a human agent on handover.
Sierra supports 34+ languages with real-time mid-conversation switching and custom voices per region. The voice localization is an edge for phone-heavy, multi-region operations.
How do they compare on security and compliance?
Sierra carries the broader grid: SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA and CSA STAR. My AskAI holds SOC 2 Type II and GDPR with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS in transit, isolated per-customer containers, and no use of your data for model training. For most B2B SaaS and e-commerce buyers, My AskAI's set covers the review; if you specifically need HIPAA or an ISO certification, Sierra has the wider coverage.
Will I be locked in?
My AskAI is a portable layer: switch between Zendesk, Intercom, HubSpot, Freshdesk and Gorgias and your trained agent, custom answers, guidance and tasks come with you. Sierra is a bespoke platform built above your stack and connected by custom API, so leaving means unwinding those integrations and losing the tuned agent. Both are layers you adopt; only one walks with you when your helpdesk changes.
Mike is an experienced Product Manager who focuses on all the “non-development” areas of My AskAI, from finance and customer success to product design, copywriting, testing and more.
