How does Gorgias AI’s outcome based pricing work?
Gorgias AI uses an outcome based model where you are charged for each automated resolution or ticket deflection. Gorgias determines whether a conversation is considered resolved and therefore billable.

When does Gorgias charge for an automated resolution?
You are charged when a user receives an AI or automated flow response and does not escalate to a human within 72 hours. This applies whether the AI provided the answer or one of the automated flows did.

Why can Gorgias AI charge you even if the response was unhelpful?
If a user receives an answer that is incomplete or irrelevant and simply leaves the conversation, Gorgias can still mark the ticket as an automated resolution. Because billing is based on Gorgias’ own evaluation, you may pay even when the customer was not satisfied.

How much does a Gorgias automated resolution cost?
The cost is $0.90 per resolution on annual plans and $1.00 per resolution on monthly plans. As your AI improves and resolves more tickets, your costs can rise significantly from month to month.
