Gorgias AI vs Zendesk AI Pricing

This comparison models Gorgias Pro monthly AI: $190 includes 190 automated interactions, then $1.50 per extra interaction. Other plans and annual contracts can differ. The required Gorgias helpdesk subscription is separate; common existing helpdesk fees are excluded from this comparison.

$1.50 per Automated Resolution on committed usage (bought in $150 blocks of 100), or $2.00 per resolution on pay-as-you-go. Each plan includes a small free allowance (5–15 per agent/month depending on tier).

Compare Gorgias and Zendesk in the scenario tables above. The result depends on included usage, AI/copilot fees, ticket volume, agent count and contract terms. Read the stated assumptions; a headline unit price is not a full bill.

Partially. Zendesk AI Essentials (basic help center link responses) is included in Suite plans, but it's very limited. The Advanced AI Agent add-on (~$50/agent/month) is needed for conversational AI, and Automated Resolutions are charged separately on top.

Gorgias AI: Gorgias applies its automated-interaction billing rules. A billable interaction is not a measurement of customer satisfaction. Check the current rules and your contract.

Zendesk AI: Zendesk charges per Automated Resolution — when the AI handles a conversation without it being transferred to a human. The exact criteria for what counts is determined by Zendesk, and their own documentation on this has been heavily downvoted by confused users.

Zendesk counts an Automated Resolution when the AI handles a conversation without it being transferred to a human agent. The exact criteria are determined by Zendesk — their help center article on Automated Resolutions has -17 downvotes from users who find the definition unclear.

For Gorgias and Zendesk, confirm spending caps, alerts and pause controls in the current plan and contract. Gorgias uses included interactions plus additional usage. Check how each service handles a budget limit before rollout.

Yes. My AskAI connects to your existing Zendesk or Intercom helpdesk, so your team can keep its inbox and workflows. Start with draft Note replies where supported, review the results, then enable direct replies. Zendesk Messaging does not support Note replies. View the setup guides.

Your bill depends on your plan, chat and email mix, AI replies per ticket, and paid options. Use the pricing calculator to compare 30,000 or 50,000 monthly tickets and view the breakdown. For Enterprise volume pricing, review your requirements with our team. A ticket count alone is not a full quote.

Run the same support questions through both agents. Compare answer correctness, source links and human handover against your support policies. My AskAI batch testing lets you add your own question set. Use Note replies for real-ticket checks where supported before enabling direct replies. See the testing guide.

Connect your helpdesk and approved knowledge sources first. For account-specific answers, your technical team may need to create or update an API endpoint for customer data. Tasks and Tools also need the relevant system connections and access rules. Review the User Data API and agree which actions the agent can perform before rollout.

You can keep sensitive topics, complaints and exceptions with your human team. Use guidance, helpdesk routing, and AI Tagging where supported to control which topics receive direct replies, Note replies or no AI reply. Test each rule before rollout. AI Tagging is a paid option and is not available for Zendesk Messaging or HubSpot. See the reply-control guide.

Use our Trust Center to review or request security documents, including our SOC 2 Type II report. Our GDPR guide links to the Data Processing Agreement and explains how paid users can request a signed copy. HIPAA support and a Business Associate Agreement are available on Enterprise. Some documents require an access request.

Why should you choose My AskAI over a native AI agent in your help desk (such as Fin AI, Zendesk AI, Freddy AI, Breeze AI or Gorgias Automate)? Because it is at least 5x cheaper per ticket, has the same (or better) answer quality, can be set-up in minutes with no technical know-how, enables you to use AI internally (in addition to directly replying to customers), has advanced features like: insights, improve, guidance, user data APIs, tools, actions and tasks and you don't have to start again if you end up moving help desks. Oh, and did we mention it's at least 5x less expensive?!

When a question can't confidently be answered by the AI agent, then your customers are given the option to 'Talk to a person', if they select this option, they are seamlessly transferred to one of your agents within your existing support tool e.g. Intercom or Zendesk.

You can install My AskAI's approved app from your existing help desk, ticket or support provider's App Store / Marketplace. My AskAI will then work within your existing live chat widget or ticketing platform (replacing their native AI offerings) and new conversations will be handled by the AI agent before transferring to a human if they can't be resolved. See how it works for Intercom, Zendesk Messaging or Freshchat (also available for Gorgias and HubSpot).

An AI customer support agent is an artificial intelligence system that can understand natural language conversations and questions, and provide helpful responses based on its training. My AskAI allows you to build your own personalized AI agent by uploading your own documents, content, manuals, etc. The AI agent then learns from this uploaded content and can answer questions instantly based on the information provided to it. If it can't answer, it passes the conversation over to a human member of your team.

My AskAI is an AI agent for your customer support. You add all of your company's help docs, internal content and customer data so your customers can have instant answers to any question, 24.7. You can then add your AI agent to your existing ticket platform or chat app e.g. Intercom or Zendesk. Note: We are not affiliated with 'AskAI', the mobile app, despite the similar names.

My AskAI supports adding many different types of content to train your AI agent. You can add your entire website and help center, or upload documents, SOPs or even connect live user or product data from your back end systems. Your AI agent will be able to answer any question about the content you upload.

Pro includes usage equivalent to about 1,000 chat tickets with two AI replies each. Additional usage is billed at $0.12 per equivalent chat ticket on Pro or $0.10 on Scale. Email tickets use more credits because the first reply uses twice the credits of a chat reply. Your bill also depends on reply count and selected options. View the full pricing breakdown.
