Don't wait for GPT-6
AI is ready to change the world now. I have a lot of respect for Mustafa Suleyman; he's done incredible things in AI. But accuracy isn't the problem with AI, trust is. Even if it was 99% accurate, I expect the same people still wouldn't want to use it.
We should be shifting our mindset to focus on the AI "value gain." If AI is as good or even only marginally worse than a human at a task but can do it instantly 24/7, there are huge benefits for everyone.
It doesn't matter if that is:
- Medicine
- Self-driving cars
- Customer support
If it enables you to diagnose faster, get where you are going safer, or provide a better user experience, you owe it to people to use it.
