AI Support Agents Need a Rebrand
- They shouldn't be framed as 'cost-savers' for companies.
- They should be framed as 'always on AI concierges' for customers.
- They should be seen as a 'premium' feature.
Not enough companies push the benefit to the user, over the benefit to their business. Most companies increase customer support response times the more expensive plan you pay for.
Premium Offering
- Having instant responses and support is a premium offering.
- The key is to ensure that the user knows that AI support is an additional service they are receiving (at the company's expense).
- They still get human support when needed but they ALSO get the latest AI technology to assist them too.
So much of AI support agent adoption will come down to messaging. I think this will be one of the most important ones.
