It's Great to Be Wrong (Sometimes)
A few weeks ago I shared our landing page on LinkedIn to get hard, honest feedback. The reaction:
- It's too busy.
- It's cluttered.
- It's excessively detailed.
The response from us:
- We designed a new above-the-fold section.
- Included a heavily simplified graphic of our product (AI customer for Intercom/Zendesk/etc.).
- We A/B tested this for qualified sign-ups.
The result: A whopping 177% increase in conversion.
I really liked our old landing page. I thought it was clear. And I thought we could only eek out incremental conversion improvements. Turns out I was very wrong. Which is great 😊
