Today, the argument against using AI support agents in some capacity is very weak:
- You don’t need a vast budget
- You don’t need to set up and manage complex flows
- You don’t even need a support team
Without question, AI support agents WILL resolve at least some of your customers’ questions and save them some time.
Even if it can’t answer their question, they have spent just a few seconds ruling out simple options that will make it quicker for a human agent (and less frustrating for a customer to be told: "have you tried turning it off and on again?")
